The best  Surf conditions for the Tutukaka Coast  are west to Southwest   winds( offshore) and North East swell usually generated from cyclones heading west across the south pacific . But North , Northeast or westerly winds brings waves. And any winds from the North west to south provides an offshore somewhere up the coast. Ocean water Temperatures range from 15 C & 20 C
